Every Swing Counts

We’re doing it again. Year 2. ⛳️🔥

Bring Golf to the Community is back on May 27 | 5:30 PM–7 PM at Charlie Sifford Golf Course happening during Paraison Invitational Week, and this free event is all about exposing the next generation to the game while surrounding them with real community, real mentorship, and real access.

What made last year so special was the people. Everyday golfers from our own community, men and women, showed up and volunteered their time to help facilitate stations, teach fundamentals, and encourage first swings. No egos. Just love for the game and a desire to give back. That kind of presence and representation matters.

We’re leveraging our community to build bridges through sport. Introducing youth to golf, honoring those who paved the way, and creating space for learning, confidence, and connection.

Free youth golf polos and hats will be provided while supplies last. 👕🧢

Whether it’s their first time holding a club or their next step in the game, all kids are welcome.

Last year, over 50 youth ages 5–17 participated. This year, we’re going even bigger. Same mission. Same heart.

Why This Matters

Golf has long been perceived as an exclusive sport, yet it holds immense value in teaching discipline, patience, and strategic thinking. By bringing golf directly into the heart of the community, we aim to break barriers, inspire young people, and celebrate the sport’s role in bringing people together.
